1. Information we collect

- Quote form: your name, phone number, email address (optional), the services you want, any details you add, and your address or area.
- Calls, texts and email: your contact details and the content of the messages, photos or other information you send us.
- Job and payment records: the work we did, the price, the date, and the payment method used. We do not collect or store card numbers; payments are handled by the payment provider you choose (for example Venmo, Cash App, PayPal or Apple Pay) or in cash.
Information collected automatically
- Form data we add: the date and time we received your request, and a note that it came from our website.
- Anti-spam signals: a hidden form field and how long the form was open before it was sent. We use these only to filter automated spam, and we do not store them with your request.
- Technical data: like most websites, our website host and the third-party services described below may receive your IP address, browser type, device type and the pages you request.
Please do not send us sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, or passwords. We never need them to give you a quote.
2. How we use information
- To reply to your request, prepare quotes, schedule and perform jobs, and take payment.
- To communicate with you about your request or job by phone, text or email.
- To keep business records and meet tax, accounting and legal obligations.
- To protect the website and our business from spam, fraud and misuse.
- To improve our services and website. If you give us permission, to show photos of our work (see our Terms).
We do not use your information for unrelated purposes, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
3. How the quote form works
When you send the form, your request is saved to a private Google Sheet that we control, using Google Apps Script. We may also receive an email notification of your request. Google processes this data under its own terms and privacy policy. Only the owners of Washers have access to the sheet.
4. Cookies, local storage and third-party services
We do not use cookies, advertising trackers or analytics on this website. If that changes, we will update this policy first.
- Browser storage: after you send the form, your browser stores the time you sent it so we can limit repeated submissions. Text you type into an "Other" box may be held temporarily in your browser to carry it to the quote form. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us or used to track you.
- Google Fonts: the website loads fonts from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details when the fonts load.
- Google Maps: the home page shows an embedded Google map of our service area. Google may collect information and set its own cookies when the map loads.
- Hosting: our website host may keep standard server logs for security and reliability.
- Other websites and apps: links to social media, Google Maps or payment apps take you to services we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for them.
Your browser may let you block or delete cookies and site data. Blocking third-party content may stop the map or fonts from loading, but you will still be able to use the rest of the website. We do not respond to "Do Not Track" signals because we do not track visitors across websites.

We keep personal information only as long as we reasonably need it to quote and perform your job, to keep business, tax and legal records, to resolve disputes and to enforce our agreements. After that, we delete it or remove identifying details.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information, including restricting access to the sheet that holds quote requests. However, no website, email, text message or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information you send us. You provide information at your own risk. If a breach occurs that affects you, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
8. Your choices and rights
You may contact us at any time to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct or delete it, subject to records we are legally required or reasonably need to keep; or
- ask us to stop contacting you by phone, text or email, other than about a job already scheduled.

10. Where information is processed
Our services are offered to customers in the Coeur d'Alene, Idaho area. Our service providers, such as Google, may store and process information in the United States and other countries.
11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
This website and its content are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Washers is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the website, or from the acts, omissions, security or privacy practices of third-party services we do not control. Our total liability related to this policy and the website is limited as stated in our Terms of Service. Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under law that cannot be waived.
